宝贝们，今天牛妈妈要讲一个超厉害的老爷爷的故事 ——《愚公移山》！

很久很久以前，有个老爷爷叫愚公，他家门口有两座大山，像两个大馒头挡住去路。每次他去集市买甜甜的糖葫芦，都要绕好久的路，累得气喘吁吁。有一天，愚公把全家叫到一起，叉着腰说：“咱们把这两座山搬走吧！这样小孙子以后上学就不用爬山啦！”

Once upon a time, there was an old grandpa named Yugong. Two huge mountains stood in front of his house, like two giant breads blocking the way. Every time he went to the market to buy sweet tanghulu, he had to walk around for ages, huffing and puffing. One day, Yugong gathered his whole family and said, “Let’s move these mountains! Then our little grandson won’t have to climb hills to school!”

“爷爷爷爷，山这么大，怎么搬得完呀？” 愚公摸摸小孙子的头说：“不怕不怕！我挖不动了有儿子，儿子挖不动了有孙子，孙子还有小娃娃，子子孙孙一直挖，总有一天能挖完！” 旁边的智叟爷爷却哈哈笑：“你这老头太傻啦！这么老了还想搬山，不如在家晒太阳舒服！” 愚公拍拍胸脯说：“我虽然老，但我有决心！只要不放弃，一定能做到！”

The little grandson raised his hand and asked, “Grandpa, the mountains are so big! How can we ever move them all?” Yugong rubbed his head and said, “Don’t worry! When I’m too tired, my son will dig. When my son is tired, my grandson will dig. And his children will keep digging too! Generation after generation, we’ll get it done!” Grandpa Zhisou nearby laughed, “You’re so silly! Why work so hard when you could just relax in the sun?” Yugong thumped his chest, “I’m old, but I have courage! If we never give up, we’ll succeed!”

后来呀，这件事感动了天上的山神！山神搓着手说：“哎呀，这个老爷爷太执着了，再不让他搬走山，他的子孙要挖到什么时候呀！” 于是山神赶紧告诉了天帝，天帝派出两个力大无穷的神仙，“嘿哟” 一声就把两座山扛走了！从那以后，愚公家门口就变得平平坦坦，小孩子们蹦蹦跳跳去上学，再也不用绕路啦！

Later, the Mountain God in heaven heard about this! He rubbed his hands and said, “Oh my, this grandpa is so determined! If I don’t help, his family will dig forever!” So he told the Emperor of Heaven, who sent two strong gods. With a big “HEY-YO!”, they carried the mountains away! From then on, Yugong’s door led to a flat road, and kids skipped to school happily without any detours!
